Wanna Give Your Heart A Break (SkySims 24 Moose'd)

So as I promised on my tumblr, I did put a lot of work into this hair mesh. Let me just say that this thing was a complete nightmare. I ended up fixing the dang thing on two separate occasions because the first one ended up looking too square, and TSR Workshop refused to accept the fact that I wanted to use thin morphs. All in all, I ended up tweaking and testing this in-game over a period of eight consecutive hours as I listened to my hip music and stewed in the fact that I haven't hung out with anyone this summer save for my mother. Not to knock my mother, I freaking love my mother. She and I went and saw a fantastic movie and got boba, it was great, but I want to hang out with my friends, who have either cancelled or been busy. Also I need a job.

Where was I? Oh yes, the hair. This hair originally had no morphs or breast slider compatibility at all, and the shape was grosser than gross. I wrestled with the mesh quite a bit, and ended up adding morphs and breast slider compatibility and making it fit the head and gave it some lovely shiny textures (and some matte ones for all of you EA purists). Long story short, I messed with the way it sits on the head, gave it some better textures, and added morphs and slider compatibility. I think that the mesh looks better, but that is arguable because I'm extremely biased as I spent a horrifying amount of time staring at this very mesh trying to make it not suck. Whether you want my version or any version of this at all is up to you, but hey, I think it looks really good, and I'm actually using it in one of my files, and I think its dang lovely. Downsides are the minor transparency issues (brown) and potentially the animation (red and control), but keep in mind that those are not poses meant for flattering hair animation whatsoever. Oh also, you can see where I REALLY wrestled with the mesh in the blonde image. There is a huge horrible jagged piece of mesh just above the shoulder.

This hairstyle's name is based on Give Your Heart A Break by Demi Lovato. What can I say? Those Disney Girls' producers know what they're doing. Its pretty great. Also, I love her voice.

The two versions animate very differently, and mine just happens to throw a slight fit at certain angles like MOST hairs. At least you know what you're putting in your game this way):

This mesh is 7,898 polygons in LOD0, and 5,504 polygons in LOD1 (Some people might say that my version actually makes things worse, because the original LOD0 has an identical polycount, and the original LOD1 is about 2,000 polygons less, but I can explain. The original looked HORRIBLE in character menus, which is what LOD1 is used for, so I had to make it higher poly). Most everyone should be able to run it, claps for SkySims for making it so low poly, I'm actually very impressed. 

*This hairstyle is available for teen-elder females. I'm sorry, no child version. Its too ridiculous a hair, and I can't stand to look at this mesh in a meshing program for any longer.*

DISCLAIMER: I didn't mesh this. I DID convert it, make all the bone assignments, and make fat morphs AND thin morphs for all of you skinny girls and phat girls, and I gave it the textures that I made. SkySims made the original shape that this is based on, but without their work, this wouldn't have been possible (but had they worked harder, none of it would have been necessary).

My Body's Naked and Now I Am Free (Raon 36 Moose'd)

So I'm completely aware that I already did this hair awhile ago, but the file was taken down some time ago, and someone was asking if they could get the original file. I couldn't access the original file, and I missed having this in my game, so I decided to do it all over again.

Also, this is technically a 'fix,' only because I had no idea that the original actually had morphs and breast compatibility, so there aren't many differences. The only difference between my version and Raon's is that they have different bone assignments, so there is only a minor difference in animation, and the fat and breast sliders look a little bit different. On top of that, I fixed the horrible balding issue present in the black image by adding a scalp, and my textures are (arguably) nicer and twice the resolution.

This is based on a song by Reptar called Rainbounce. It is still to this day one of my favorite songs.

Also, I decided I wanted to keep doing patterns even if they're very light because I'm addicted to patterns. Additionally, I will begin making gifs smaller, and also, the jpgs are bigger than most people's screens, because they were taken on a TV monitor and with the HQ mod on. I'm lucky I didn't fry my Mom's video card. (By the way, I'm on my mom's computer because I fried my video card, so I don't have a personal computer anymore, which means less retextures, I'm sorry):

This hairstyle is 9,688 polygons in LOD0, and 5,034 in LOD1. I wish that Raon would create again, the fact that they made this under 10,000 polygons really shows how talented they were. Most of you should be able to run this. Oh and I also added the missing LOD3. 

*This hairstyle is available for teen-elder females. I thought it was much too glamorous for children and I didn't want to put the work in. This is also non-default, which means you can have both versions in game and Raons, if you so desure.*

This hairstyle is compatible with breast morphs and fat sliders.

Let The Moment Take You, Lose Control Tonight (Newsea MilesAway Moose'd)

I'm going to make this quick, because I'm not in the mood to post anything, but I love you guys so here you go anyway.

This is just a simple retexture, I didn't fix anything, because Newsea's hairs are way difficult to fix.

This retexture's name is based on a song called Hit The Lights by Selena Gomez. Some of you might say that Selena Gomez is for little kids, but she's been trying really hard to break into the club scene, and I like her so go sit on a curling iron if you're gonna make fun of me.

I had no idea why Newsea wanted them as tips, but I changed them to roots because they're AT THE ROOTS. At least it makes sense to me that way. Long story short, the blue bits near the scalp in the control image will now show up as red in that color combo):

This hairstyle is 14,865 polygons in LOD0, and 7,931 polygons in LOD1. I know its really high, but I'm not magic, I have no idea how to reduce the polys on Newsea hairs because they can't really be converted, and I have a lot of trouble using Reis' reduction method. 

*This hair is available for toddler-elder females. This retexture is non-default, which means you can have both versions of this AND Newsea's version if you want them all in-game for some reason. Basically, it doesn't conflict.*

This hair doesn't have breast or fat slider support, but it doesn't need either one.
